Wolves Not Sheep
Unveiling Deceptive Leaders: Protecting Believers from Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing in American Churches
About
Wolves Not Sheep
Wolves Not Sheep emerged from a profound necessity within the body of Christ: the imperative to unveil those masquerading as sheep while harboring the ferocity of wolves. Matthew 7:15 warns, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves…” These deceitful brothers lead astray unsuspecting young believers, devouring innocent lambs in their wake. It is for the protection of the these believers and their defenseless that these wolves must be exposed.
The independent structure of American churches often facilitates the concealment of such wolves within their hierarchical folds. Thus, we conceived the idea of a website. While these wolves may find refuge within their own congregations and ministries, they cannot evade The Truth, nor can they evade internet search engines.
Standing Out
How do we distinguish ourselves from other ministries and individuals engaged in exposure?
1
First and foremost, we are not “Wolf” hunters. Our mission is not to actively seek out wolves for the sole purpose of bolstering our own platform. Our encounters with these wolves have either been personal or have been brought to our attention through overwhelming evidence provided by others
2
Furthermore, we adamantly reject the practices of slander and gossip. Character assassination has no place in our endeavors. We refuse to align ourselves with the Accuser. Each individual labeled as a “Wolf” on our platform is backed by substantial evidence and consistent patterns of behavior, rather than isolated incidents. While all have sinned, not all persist in patterns of sin.
3
We maintain stringent standards of evidence. Only firsthand accounts from credible witnesses are considered. Patterns of behavior must be corroborated by numerous witnesses over extended periods and supported by various forms of evidence, including email threads, text messages, video and audio recordings, screenshots, and the like.
4
We look beyond surface-level discourse to assess the impact of individuals’ actions. We scrutinize their fruit, as prescribed in Matthew 7:16: “You will know them (wolves) by their fruits…” Do they exhibit the fruits of the Spirit outlined in Galatians 5? Do they embody the qualities of an Overseer as described in 1 Timothy 3? Those whose lives reflect a consistent pattern of Godly fruit will not find themselves featured on our website.
5
Testimonies and evidence submitted must demonstrate that the accused genuinely exhibit many of the characteristics enumerated in the section “What are the characteristics of a wolf?”
Do you have knowledge of a wolf deserving exposure on our website?
For the sake of the vulnerable, we implore you to break your silence and unmask the wolves lurking in your midst. However, the burden of proof lies with the individual submitting the testimony. Generally, we do not engage in evidence collection or interviews.
Submissions must be accompanied by overwhelming evidence, such as texts, emails, video and audio recordings, and testimonials from multiple individuals. Should we determine that your testimony is substantiated, we will consider adding the accused individual to our website. However, this decision rests solely with us.
Insufficient evidence will result in notification to the submitter, who may continue to gather evidence and submit a revised request in the future. Instructions for submitting cases can be found on our Contact Page.
